    Architecture in Nepal

Personal Stories of Culture and Living Heritage
  • The Temple

The story of Char Narayan represents one of the great architectures of the world. While the devastating earthquake of 2015 destroyed its structure, the resilience and spirit of Patan’s oldest monument lives on through the people who are rebuilding it and those whose living heritage propel its future.

Thanks to the support of World Monuments Fund, American Express, and the resilient people of Nepal, Char Narayan’s story will continue.
